Specifications and included items
KDT Premium Sandpaper 4" x 5/8" Velcro (50ea)
KDT Premium Sandpaper discs are 4" (100 mm) silicon carbide abrasives on a hook-and-loop (Velcro) backing, built for shaping and finishing natural stone such as granite and marble — from leveling saw marks to prepping a surface ahead of polishing. The hook-and-loop backing lets a disc swap onto a matching backing pad in seconds, and the discs can be run wet or dry. Each box holds 50 discs with a 5/8" center hole in a single grit, available from #80 up through #1200.
Features
- Silicon carbide abrasive grain on a hook-and-loop (Velcro) backing
- Quick grit changes — no adhesive residue to scrape off a backing pad
- Works wet or dry; wet use washes debris off the grain so it keeps cutting instead of clogging
- 4" (100 mm) diameter, 5/8" center hole
- 50 discs per box, single grit per box
- Six grits offered: #80, #120, #220, #400, #600, #1200

| SP04B-600V | #600 | Fine finishing, pre-polish prep | 787774156 |

- Attach the disc to a matching hook-and-loop backing pad on your sander or polisher.
- Start with the coarsest grit needed to remove saw marks or surface defects (typically #80–#120).
- Keep the disc moving for an even scratch pattern — dwelling in one spot can dig in unevenly.
- Run wet when possible: water washes grit debris off the disc instead of letting it clog the surface, so the grain keeps cutting.
- Step up through the grits in order (for example #120 → #220 → #400) — skipping more than one grit level leaves scratches the next grit can't fully remove.
- Inspect the surface under good light between grits to confirm the previous grit's scratch pattern is gone before moving on.
- Finish at #600–#1200 to leave a scratch pattern fine enough to hand off to a polishing step.

What is this sandpaper used for?
Shaping and finishing natural stone such as granite and marble — leveling saw marks, smoothing, and preparing the surface for polishing.
Can I use it wet or dry?
Both. Running it wet washes debris off the grain so it resists clogging and keeps cutting longer than dry use.
How do I pick a grit sequence?
Start as coarse as the surface defect requires, then step up in order without skipping more than one grit level, so each grit fully removes the scratch pattern left by the one before it.
How many discs come in a box, and what hole size?
50 discs per box, 5/8" center hole, one grit per box.
What backing pad do I need?
A 4" hook-and-loop (Velcro) backing pad sized to match the disc's 5/8" center hole.
